Quick Summary of Recent News & Events
BROADCAST AGREEMENT SET
Iowa Public Television (IPTV) is set to broadcast
"Ghost Player-The Documentary" on July 15,
2009 at 8:00pm and on IPTV World on July 16, 2009
at 7:00pm and July 18, 2009 at 9:00pm. All times are
CST. IPTV has offered to be a participating station as
we approach broadcast agreements outside of Iowa.
Comcast SportsNet Chicago, MLB Network and Japan
TV are also interested but have not committed.
MLB LICENSEE STATUS
Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Chicago White
Sox are in support of the Ghost Player project. Ghost
Player is cleared for incidental use of MLB logos on
apparel worn in film. Related MLB Licensee rights are
in process - more on this as we finalize specifics.
MAJOR EVENT SET - PATRIOT NIGHT AT THE
BALLPARK JULY 19, 2009
Ghost Players vs USA Military All Stars non -
competitive exhibition game is set for Sunday, July 19,
2009 in Dyersville Iowa at Commercial Club Park.
Also featured will be the Ghost Players Greatest Show
on Dirt. Mark your calendars now as this promises to
be a big event. We are asking fans to agree to be
filmed as we will have cameras rolling to capture yet
another historical event in Ghost Player history! This is
the first time the Ghost Players will host the US Military
at the Ghost Players' Home Base. This year is the US
Military's 20th Anniversary of their Red, White & Blue
Tour. They are set to visit 40 states and 8 countries
with over 100 scheduled dates including Dyersville,

SCREENING The true-to-life home of Archibald
"Doc" Moonlight Graham was the site of a recent
special screening of Ghost Player - The Documentary.
The event was held at Valentini's Supper Club in
Chisholm MN on May 1, 2009. Click on the link below

Ghost Player, LLC is organized under the Limited
Liability Company Act, Chapter 490A, Code of Iowa
and is the "Producer" for the Field of Dreams Ghost
Player project. As "Producer" Ghost Player LLC is
responsible for financing, finding the creative and
artist feel, getting the film developed, produced and
marketed.FIELD OF DREAMS GHOST PLAYERS
has received support from The Community Foundation
of Greater Dubuque, and is funded-in-part-by grants
from the Iowa Community Cultural Grant Program
(Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs) and the Historical
Resource Development Program (Historical Society of
Iowa). Additional support comes from the Targeted
Industries Internship Program (Iowa Department of
Economic Development), and an endowment of
$10,000 exists with The Community Foundation of
Greater Dubuque for the project.
